The Premium mats are cost-effective general purpose mats and suited for balled and most optical mice. Whilst the Superior mats have been specifically designed with an embossed surface, for optimum tracking with all optical mice.

Mats Designed Specifically For Optical Mice Usage

If all recipients are likely to use Optical Mice with their PC's rather than standard 'balled' mice, it is recommended that Superior HardTop Mats are used OR the rigid (non-foam backed) Brite-Mat™ mouse mats. These have been designed for optimum tracking usage with all optical mice.

NOTE: Premium Hardtop Mats as mentioned earlier above, can also be used with optical mice, though there is no guarantee of good tracking on ALL optical mice. You would need to inspect a sample and see for yourself.

Own Insert / Photograph Mats

Besides Printed mats, there are other mats available which allow you to insert your own pre-printed inserts or Photographs into them. The mats then don't have to have a permanent print message on them. And you can change the photos/inserts whenever you need to. Pricing for printed mouse mats will depend on various factors. The most important is the style of mouse mat required, together with quantity needed and number of print colours involved in the artwork design. Other factors will depend on the size and thickness of the mat etc (where options are available).

The minimum order quantity starts from 25 mats for most styles.

Free Material Samples are available on all are mouse mat ranges. You can request one with your quote request. These samples will show you mouse mat quality and example of print output achieved from some previous work.

Pre-production printed proof samples are recommended with all printed orders. They will allow you to see exactly what the printed mouse mats will look like, before we commence with the bulk run production. Or allow you to make any last minute changes to artwork components. (nb. Proof samples are compulsory on 4 colour process printed mats and normally chargable.)

Ordering

You can easily place your order after receiving a quote from us, by e-mailing or faxing us with your official company purchase order. Ensure you include full contact and delivery address details. We will contact you back with order acknowledgement and discuss/confirm any necessary details further. You can then post or email your attached *logo artwork file.

Artwork

* Please ensure you first view special artwork guidelines link, before submitting artwork with order. This will give relevant information for e-mailing us artwork attachments in the required format. Or see below for general guide.

It can sometimes be difficult to determine the suitability of a design for screen printing. It is always best to send us a simple composite visual (eg jpeg) of the design to begin with, so we can advise and also quote correctly. (Artwork suitable for printing purposes can follow later on, or when ordering.)

Note: Designs incorporating tints, shadows and grading effects are normally treated as 4 colour process work.

For Screen Printed Work: Supply Editable EPS file (email or disc) with all the text and images saved as curves.

For 4 Colour Process Work: Supply jpg, tiff, pdf files at 300dpi or above, with artwork image set to correct size. (Allow 3mm bleed around design)

Also accept InDesign 2 & 3, Illustrator 11 and lower. Photoshop 8 and lower, Freehand 10 and lower, CorelDraw 11 and lower, and Quark 4 files.

Please let us know if you require help with your design layout and/or creation of suitable digital artwork for printing purposes (which is needed to print the mouse mats correctly). There will normally be a separate artwork charge for this.
